To provide a small-sized mixed flow fan motor with increase in the static pressure of the fan motor and by motor revolution at a lower noise level than the conventional case, without reducing the wind volume.
The small-sized mixed flow fan motor is equipped with a casing 10, an impeller 14 revolved by a motor 11, and a hub 12 belonging to the motor 11. In this equipment, a flow channel 18 with an air suction port 19 and an air discharge port 20 is formed into an almost round shape by means of the hub 12 and air-guide covers 17 installed around the hub 12. The hub 12 has the shape of a circular cone that expands toward the air discharge port 20, with its sharply pointed tip removed, while the section of an air-guide cover 17 is roughly in a wing form. The motor 11 is supported by the casing 10 through a support piece 16, which extends toward the exterior in the radius direction, while the support piece 16 is placed at a position belonging to the air suction port 19 in the flow channel 18.
