Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized motor with worm reducer, the reverse rota tion resisting property of which can be maintained at all times by securing a desired transfer efficiency between gears over a wide operating temperature range, and at the same time, the size of which can be reduced.
SOLUTION: The lubricant used for lubricating the worm gear 22 of a worm reducer 11 which is attached to the motor section 10 of a small-sized motor for reducing the output speed of the motor section 10, before outputting the output speed is prepared by mixing fine silica particles in a base oil at a mixing ratio between about 3 wt.% and about 10 wt.%. It is preferable that the particle sizes of the fine silica particles are adjusted to about 7-40 nm.
