PURPOSE: To make the panhead small by means of the coaxial connector constitution to prevent the cable from hindering the drive of the universal panhead and to relieve a motor load.

CONSTITUTION: An intermediate cylinder 14 with a contact pattern 17 formed thereto is provided on a drive shaft 12 and a connector reception device 18 is provided on the intermediate cylinder 14. Then a brush cylinder 22 having a brush 23 on the inner side is provided on the outer case 11 to form a rotary contact mechanism maintaining electric contact state at all times even during rotation of the drive shaft 12 and at the same time a connector 28 is provided on the same axis as the drive shaft 12. Thus, the cable is not connected to the outer case 11 and it is not required to pull around the cable. In this case, the rotary contact mechanism consists of a concentric contact pattern and brushes.
