Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain small spherical soap particles excellent in fluidity and solubility and useful for obtaining a composite soap having functions such as decorativeness by solidifying a soln. of a soap glue under specified conditions.

CONSTITUTION: Small spherical soap particles are obtd. by dropping a soln. of a soap glue which is transparent and/or contains at least one material selected from among a perfume, a cosmetic, and a property modifier (e.g. a soln. obtd. by heating the soap obtd. by saponifying a mixture comprising beef tallow and coconut oil, sugar, sorbitol. ethanol, a perfume. a colorant, and ion-exchanged water) into a hydrophobic liq. (e.g. a liq. paraffin) to cool and solidify. A composite soap is obtd. by homogeneously dispersing a number of the soap particles in a solid transparent soap.
