Abstract:
To previously prevent the close of a portable device due to leave of a portable device or run out of a battery.
When a door is opened, a smart entry ECU sends the starting signal again through a cabin-outside antenna (S1, S2), and when the response signal from an electronic card key is received (YES in S3), the door is maintained in the lock condition by the control of the smart entry ECU (S4), and when the response signal from the electronic card key is not received (NO in S3), an alarm buzzer is driven so as to inform that the electronic card key is not carried or left outside of the transmission area of the cabin-outside antenna or that a battery built in the electronic card key is worn to the operating voltage or less (S5).
