To prevent a smoke damage to the neighborhood at the time of harbor anchorage of a ship without forming a complex introduction route on an exhaust pipe.
A plurality of exhaust pipes 4 of which an upper end is made to an exhaust gas blowing port 4a are arranged, in a right/left direction, at a rear side position of a flame tube 5 in an outer cylinder 3 of the chimney of the ship chimney 1 projected on a ship body structure. A plurality of air feed pipes 8 connected to an air source are arranged at a rear side position rather than the exhaust gas pipes 4 in a right/left direction. Upper ends of the respective air feed pipes 8 are opened to a lower position than the upper ends of the exhaust gas pipes 4 and an air blow nozzle 11 is provided at the opening. An air curtain 12 is formed at a rear side of the exhaust gas blowing port 4a of the exhaust gas pipes 4 by the air upwardly blown out from the respective air blowing nozzles 11 through the respective air feed pipes 8. A rearward flow of the exhaust gas 7 discharged from the exhaust gas pipe 4 is inhibited by the air curtain 12 to prevent the smoke damage.
