Title:
SMOKE DENSITY CONTROL METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2700727
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To increase smoke density at a constant rate in a short time by increasing and decreasing the area and number of heaters dipped in a smoke generation body such as paraffin.
CONSTITUTION: The heater 11 is provided in a container 3 which contains the paraffin 2 so that the heater can be elevated by an elevation means; and the elevation means is put in operation with the control signal from a controller to control the entry of the heater 11 into the paraffin 2. The heater 11 is formed in a truncated cone shape so that the outer peripheral length increases toward the top. In this case, the heater 11 is powered ON to generate heat up to specific temperature and then dipped in the paraffin 2 deeper and deeper by the elevation means to increase the area of contact between the heater 11 and paraffin 2, so that the amount of smoke generated by the paraffin 2 increases.
