Abstract:
The application discloses a heat not burn consumable 1 (also known as a non-combustible cigarette). The consumable comprises a vapour generating member 7 (VGM) preferably a tubular sheet of reconstituted tobacco with a channel defined inside. The tobacco sheet represents over 50% of the total length of the consumable. More preferably, the length of the sheet is 75-90%. The sheet may also even comprise the full length of the consumable. Also preferably, a passageway extends from an inlet to an outlet at the other end of the consumable, where the channel forms at least a portion of said passageway. The side wall of the VGM (tobacco sheet) has a thickness preferably less than 1.5mm. Also preferably, the portion actively heated of the VGM is between 10-35mm and the total length of the consumable is between 50-100mm. Preferably, the consumable comprises 100-1000mg of tobacco with between 0.2-2.0 milligrams of nicotine.
