Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which an antiseptic and ant-proof effect is lost by planing the surface of lumber off before use in a smoking and drying process which is practiced to provide an antiseptic and ant-proof effect to the lumber and is inevitably causes shrinkage and deformation of the lumber.SOLUTION: A smoking apparatus of lumber includes a sealable smoking chamber, piping to send smoke to the smoking chamber, a smoke generating unit that is installed outside the smoking chamber and generates smoke. The smoke generating unit generates the smoke by imperfect combustion of fuel. The temperature of smoking is set 50°C or less by regulating a combustion rate in the smoke generating unit so as to smoke the lumber that is arranged in the smoking chamber .SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
