Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide cloth printable with a heat-transfer printer, sublimation heat-transfer printer, etc., to form clearly recorded letters, images and discrimination marks having high color density.
CONSTITUTION: The recording cloth for heat-transfer printer, cloth for air-bag or smooth-surface cloth for clothes and spinnaker has a center line average surface roughness of <3μm on one surface, the maximum height of the surface roughness of <10μm and a Bekk smoothness of ≥30see. The area of the valley part having a width of ≥5μm, a length of ≥50μm and a depth of ≥3μm measured by the two-dimensional photograph taken from above is <5% of the total area. The above cloth can be produced by applying a pressure of 10-100kg/cm2 to cloth at 140-230°C or subjecting at least one surface of cloth to high-pressure water-jet treatment and applying a pressure of 1-3,000kg/cm2 at 140-230°C.
