Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system capable of easily specifying three-dimensional positions of various depressions and protrusions present on a rugged surface.SOLUTION: Three-dimensional coordinates (X, Y, Z) of a measurement point group scattered on a rugged surface 1 are measured and a standard measurement point P is selected from the measurement point group, and a plurality of object measurement points Q1, Q2 to be compared is selected from within a predetermined length L with the standard measurement point P as a center, and a ratio of the line connecting the object measurement points Q1, Q2 to a smoothness standard length of a difference d of the Z coordinate is detected as smoothness of the standard measurement point P. The smoothness standard length of the line connecting the smoothness standard length with a predetermined length L or the object measurement points Q1, Q2 is defined as a length N. A cycle for detecting the smoothness is preferably repeated by selecting each of the measurement point groups as the standard measurement point P.
