Abstract:

To obtain a snack-like food enabling easily eating bean curd useful as a health food.

This snack-like food using dry bean curd is obtained by arranging the coating layer of food paste, food powder and other food on the surface of the dry bean curd of a given shape. The raw material bean curd as the raw material of the dry bean curd is added with a palate feeling imparting agent to impart crispy feeling to the dry bean curd obtained by drying the raw material bean curd. The method for producing the snack-like food using the dry bean curd comprises a raw material bean curd production process 10 for producing the raw material bean curd through adding as the palate feeling imparting agent 5 starch and saccharides or starch to soybean milk 1, a raw material bean curd drying process 20 for obtaining the dry bean curd 3 through drying the raw material bean curd 2 and a coating layer forming process 30 for forming the coating layer of food paste, food powder and other food on the surface of the dry bean curd 3.
