PURPOSE: To provide the soundproof and corrosionproof rail which lessens the noise generated by contact of wheels and the rail during traveling of trains.

CONSTITUTION: This soundproof and corrosionproof rail is constituted by thermally spraying ≥2 kinds of metals having the natural potential lower than the natural potential of steel in superposition over the entire surface of the rail 1 exclusive of the vehicle contact surfaces at the summit surface A and top flank B of the rail 1 to ≥0.15mm and ≤0.25mm thicknesses so as to have ≤5mm total thickness respectively alternately. The outermost layer surface of the thermally sprayed films alternately thermally sprayed in superposition is subjected to resin coating to ≥0.10mm to ≤0.50mm.
