PURPOSE: To provide a useful snorkel capable of arbitrarily adjusting an exhaust amount in accordance with strong/weak breathing force of a user, that is, individual difference in order that water, stagnating in the snorkel, can be released upper/lower simultaneously.

CONSTITUTION: A snorkel main unit 1 formed in desired size and a drain valve mechanism 3 arranged in a base end of this snorkel main unit 1 are provided. This drain valve mechanism 3 comprises a valve main unit 3a water-tightly fitted to an exhaust port 1b of the snorkel main unit 1 and a drain valve 3d openably/closably blocking a drain hole 3a1 of the valve main unit 3a. In this way, a switching means, comprising a dial switch 3b built in the periphery of the valve main unit 3a in a water-tight condition further turnably and a valve retainer 3c having a regulating plate 3c3 changing an opening area of the valve main unit 3a (in detail, drain hole 3a1) in accordance with a turn operation of the dial switch 3b, is concurrently provided.
