Abstract:
To provide a melter for preventing the adhesion of snow and ice to a diagonal cable.
This snow melter has a cylindrical heating unit 12 having a predetermined length arranged so as to cover the diagonal cable, and a bearing 20 arranged on the inner surface of the heating unit and contacting with the diagonal cable, and is characterized in that the heating unit has an outside cover 14, an inside cover 16 and a heating wire containing sheet 18 arranged between the outside cover and the inside cover, and constituted so as to melt the snow and ice adhering to the outside surface of the heating unit by heating the outside cover by carrying an electric current to a heating wire.
