PURPOSE: A snow-melting and deciding agent which has excellent effect and has almost no phytotoxicity, composed mainly of calcium chloride and magnesium sulfate, containing essentially no sodium chloride.

CONSTITUTION: About 75W40wt% calcium chloride, about 25W60wt% magnesium sulfate and, if necessary, about 10wt% or less magnesium chloride, about 2wt% or less phosphate, and about 5wt% or less potassium chloride are mixed together to give a snow-melting and deciding agent.
