PURPOSE: To manufacture a snow melting nozzle in one press process and to increase the contact property of a snow melting nozzle body to a cap body by forming the nozzle so that the outer peripheral surface of an opening may be inclined outward and the inner peripheral surface of a fitting part may be inclined getting narrower inwards.

CONSTITUTION: This snow melting nozzle is constituted of a snow melting nozzle body C made of a casting in which an opening 22 in the upper and a stage part 23 are formed, and a cap part D where a valve fitting hole 25 is made in the central part of a head part 21 and water spray holes 7 surround it and where a fitting part 26 which is fitted to the stage part is formed in the outer peripheral part is provided. A head part 21 of the cap body D is formed into a gentle sphericality and its outer peripheral part edge surface 24a is curved to a degree by which a gap (α) is caused to the top part 24. An inner peripheral surface 26a of the fitting part 26 is inclined getting narrower inwards to a degree by which a gap (β) is caused to a corner part of the bottom part. An outer peripheral surface 22b of the opening 22 of the snow melting nozzle body C is formed, by inclining its opening outwards so as to be fitted mutually to the fitting part 26.
