Title:
SNOW MELTING SYSTEM IN SOLAR POWER GENERATING APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2007227533
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To achieve melting of snow by feeding electric power to a solar cell module without using a large capacity power supply.
Electric power is fed alternately to strings 2 and 3 for melting snow. For melting snow at the string 2, the switches SW2, SW2' are turned ON, and the switches SW1, SW1' are turned OFF with an output of a control circuit. Subsequently, snow on the string 2 is melted away by controlling the solar cell element of the string 2 to generate heat through the supply of a current, as indicated by an arrow mark, to the string 2 from terminals T3, T4 of a power supply circuit 5, by the command of the control circuit.
