To provide a snow melting system of a road for storing rainwater under the ground by raising a temperature of the rainwater by effectively using radiation heat of a road surface in the snow unfalling season and melting a snowfall of the road in the snow falling season by this raiwater.

This snow melting system has a heat accumulating water storage tank 4 arranged under the ground near the road, water supply piping 5 for supplying and making water stored in this heat accumulating water storage tank 4 to blow to a pavement surface 11 of the road 1 and recovering piping 6 for recovering the water made to flow to the pavement surface of this road to the heat accumulating water storage tank 4, and is constituted such that the water stored in the heat accumulating water storage tank 4 is made to flow to the pavement surface 11 of the road 1 heated by solar radiation heat via the water supply piping 5 in the snow unfalling season to be accumulated in the heat accumulating water storage tank 4 and the surrounding ground by repeating operation for recovering the water depriving heat of this pavement surface 11 to the heat accumulating water storage tank 4 via the recovering piping 6, the warm water in the heat accumulated heat accumulating water storage tank is made to flow to the pavement surface 11 of the road 1 via the water supply piping 5 in the snow falling season to melt snow fallen on the pavement surface 11.
