Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snow road formation method of a tire test drum which can easily and quickly form a snow road.SOLUTION: A snow road formation method of a tire test drum includes: an ice board formation step for forming an ice board 16 at an internal peripheral face of a tire drive drum 4; a rotation step for rotating the drum 4 at a constant speed; an insertion step for making a cutting tool 21 bite into the outside of the drum 4 in a radial direction from a surface of the ice board 16; and a lateral movement step for moving the tool 21 to a lateral direction of the rotating drum 4 at a constant speed. The method also includes a repetition step for sequentially repeating the insertion step and the lateral movement step, and a snow road formation step for laying snow 18 which is generated by the repetition step on an internal face of the drum 4.
