To prevent a roof tile from being cracked or caved in when the snow falls on a snow stop plate by forming a recessed back side of a substrate to which the snow stop plate is connected so that a joining member is not projected.

A snow stop hardware 1 comprises a substrate 2 which comprises an approximately strip-shaped sheet and is capable of being installed on a roof tile, and a snow stop plate 4 in which a forward end of the substrate 2 is bent and which is fixed to the roof tile by rivets 3, 3, and resists the slide of the fallen snow. A recessed part 5 is formed around the rivet 3 on the back side of a part of the substrate 2 to which the snow stop plate 4 is connected, and the tip of the rivet 3 is prevented from being projected from the substrate 2. A part corresponding to a recessed part 5 on the surface of the substrate 2 is a projecting part 6, and is of the thickness capable of resisting the fixing force by the rivet 3. Even when the snow falls on the snow stop plate 4, the roof tile is prevented from being cracked or caved in.
