Abstract:
The boot (1) which has a fixing (4) for a snowboard (3) comprises a rear support cover (7). The boot has a relatively supple upper (6) which fits in the rear cover support. The upper has means for dividing the pressure exerted on the bottom of the wearer's leg when the upper is supported in the cover. These devices are constituted by a rigid plate (8) fastened to a rear zone more flexible than the upper and insulated from the boot rigid part. The pressure distributing plate is located in a central zone of the upper rear part.
