Title:
SNOWBOARD BINDING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2004313773
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a snowboard binding which is improved so that adjust positions are held in sides of three degrees of freedom and the adjustment is simple.

This snowboard binding is equipped with a mounting plate with an opening 10 and a clamping plate placed between a snowboard and the mounting plate. A peg 5 is projected from the clamping plate and is extended through the opening 10. A base plate 1 has an opening 24 through which a suppressing plate 2 is extended and is coupled to the clamping plate by the center opening via the peg 5. The opening 10 of the mounting plate 3 is substantially larger than the dimension of the peg 5 of the clamping plate 3 in two shift direction (x, y) extending perpendicular to each other. As a result, the clamping plate 4 and the suppressing plate 2 can move in two shift directions. There is a positive-fit connection of the mounting plate 3 to the clamping plate 4 and/or the suppressing plate 2. Means 15, 16 are preferably shaped so that the two shift directions (x, y) are decoupled from each other.
