Abstract:
To provide a soap composition that is liquid or fluid at normal temperature and contains soap in a higher concentration than in the past and its manufacturing method.
The soap composition is liquid or fluid at normal temperature and contains ≥ 35 wt.% of soap. The manufacturing process of the soap composition comprises (1) a process to saponify a fatty acid by mixing at least one kind of solvent selected from the group consisting of a fatty acid, a lower monohydric alcohol, a polyhydric alcohol and a polyhydric alcohol ether and (2) a process to adjust the solvent concentration of the liquid mixture obtained in the process (1) at 1-35 wt.%.
