Abstract:
To provide a soap having an extremely improved activity as a material, i.e. a mediator Z which singly has a poor activity for scavenging an active oxygen free radical but has properties for promoting the activities for scavenging the active oxygen free radical in the coexistence of an active oxygen free radical scavenger, and capable of effectively scavenging the active oxygen.
The soap contains one of gold, platinum and silver or a mixture of two or more thereof. The content of one of the gold, the platinum and the silver, or the mixture of two or more thereof is 0.008-0.1 wt.% based on the whole weight, and the weight ratio of the contained gold to platinum is (0.01-100)/1.
