Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a soapmaking agent composition essentially composed of a surfactant and a hydrophilic polymer compound and useful for readily and safely producing soap excellent in detergency and foaming properties by recycling waste oil.
CONSTITUTION: The composition is prepared by blending (A) 50 to 95wt.% surfactant containing ≥50wt.% water-soluble substance of preferably ≥7 HLB with (B) preferably 5 to 30wt.% hydrophilic polymer compound such as guar gum or xanthan gum. In addition, this composition is used preferably in an amount of about 3 to 50wt.% based on 100 pts.wt. 'TEMPURA' (Japanese deep-fat fried food) waste oil.
