Abstract:
To provide a socket cap which enables easy attachment of a thermal protector, and to provide a lighting device including the socket cap.SOLUTION: A lighting device 10 includes a socket cap 60, a thermal protector 50, a socket 40, and a device body 20. The socket cap 60 includes: a cylinder part 61 which covers at least part of a side part 41 of the socket 40 to which a light source 30 may be attached; a recessed part 62 which is provided on an inner surface of the cylinder part 61 and holds the thermal protector 50 which detects the socket 40 having a predetermined or higher temperature; a protruding part 63 provided in the recessed part 62 and located between electric wires of the thermal protector 50; and a bending part 64 which is bent from the cylinder part 61 along an attachment surface 42 where the socket 40 is attached to the device body 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
