Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain socks hardly causing discolor by washing, hardly leaving behind only ill-shaped name paint and excellent in handling properties by forming writing regions of a name, etc., by interknitting a yarn having different color from that of a body cloth simultaneously with the formation of the body to form the name regions.
SOLUTION: The socks have writing regions 4 for a name, etc., and the writing regions 4 are formed by carrying out interknitting of a yarn having a color different from that of the body cloth 1 simultaneous with the formation of the body. Preferably, displays 5 for showing the writing regions of the name, etc., are formed at the positions near to the writing regions 4 by using a yarn having a color different from that of the body cloth 1.
