As for a sofa provided with a seat part 2 formed to be long in a horizontal direction and a backrest part 1 arranged in a freely reclining manner in rear of the part 2, at least one massaging mechanisms 5 are mounted in the backrest part 1 of the sofa and the massaging mechanism 5 is also mounted optionally in a footrest 3 in the case of providing the retractable foot rest 3 in front of the part 2. Thus, at least two persons can sit in the sofa regardless of the necessity of massage and can be massaged comfortably with the stimulating force of the desired massaging mechanism 5 in a mutually communicable state.
