PURPOSE: To provide the soft artificial eye with which a user has a less foreign material feel and odd feel than with the conventional artificial eyes formed of hard materials during wearing by forming a part of or the whole of the artificial eye soft.

CONSTITUTION: The soft artificial eye 10 is an artificial eye of a large thickness known as 'double artificial eye double'. The sclera part 12 and cornea part 14 of the artificial eye 10 are continuously formed. The sclera part 12 and the cornea part 14 are integrally formed of a swellable material HEMA as a soft material. A white eye part 16 is formed on the inner side of the sclera part 12 and an iris part 20 having a circular shape viewed from the front is formed on the inner side of the cornea part 14, respectively. The white eye part 16 and the iris part 20 are also formed of the swellable material. A chamber 22 is formed within the soft artificial eye 10 and the swellable material is filled into the chamber 22.
