Abstract:

To provide a soft contact lens composition capable of inhibiting the adsorption of azulene sulfonic acid and/or a salt thereof onto soft contact lenses in the soft contact lens composition containing azulene sulfonic acid and/or a salt thereof and furthermore a method of inhibiting the adsorption of azulene sulfonic acid and/or a salt thereof onto soft contact lenses.

The soft contact lens composition contains (A) azulene sulfonic acid and/or a salt thereof and (B) a polyoxyethylene castor oil.
