Title:
SOFT MAGNETIC STEEL SHEET HIGH IN PERMEABILITY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3915108
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a magnetic steel sheet maintaining high permeability even if magnetic annealing is executed in a specified N2 atmosphere by composing its compsn. of specified weight ratios of C, Si, Mn, Al, S, P, N, Sb+Sn/2, and the balance substantial Fe.
SOLUTION: This steel sheet has a compsn. contg., by weight, ≤0.005% C for magnetic aging, ≤0.5% Si from the aspect of the cost, 0.05 to 0.5% Mn for preventing red shortness, 0.5 to 3.5% Al, ≤0.0009% (including zero) S, ≤0.2% P for improving punchability, ≤0.005% (including zero) N for improving magnetic properties, Sb+Sn/2=0.001 to 0.05%, and the balance substantial Fe. The steel sheet is a magnetic steel maintaining high permeability even if magnetic annealing is executed in a 100% N2 atmosphere. The content of Sb+Sn/2=0.001 to 0.0005% is possible. Since the ratio of a nitriding layer in the surface layer to be occupied increases in the sheet thickness direction of the steel sheet as the sheet thickness is made thin, the formation of the steel sheet having 0.1 to 2 mm sheet thickness is preferable.
