Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a softener for sanitation having high penetrability, capable of inhibiting strength reduction of paper while efficiently enhancing flexibility of paper, and further capable of inhibiting generation of odor from sanitation paper over time.SOLUTION: There is provided a softener for sanitation containing (A) glycerin, (B) water, and (C) alkyl polyglucoside having an average degree of polymerization of glucose of 1.0 to 2.0 and the number of carbon atoms of an alkyl group of 8 to 16 with the content of the (A) component of 70 to 94.9 pts.mass, the content of the (B) component of 5 to 25 pts.mass, the content of the (C) component of 0.1 to 5 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the total content of the (A) component, the (B) component, and the (C) component, and the content of a reductive component of less than 0.01 pts.mass.
