Abstract:
To estimate a dehydration rate of soil cement.SOLUTION: A soil cement dehydration rate estimation method comprises steps of: measuring the water content of an unconsolidated sample of soil cement formed by mixing cement milk and local soil; measuring the content of a predetermined element in the unconsolidated sample using a fluorescent X-ray analyzer; calculating a mass ratio of soil to cement in the soil cement using the content of the predetermined element in the unconsolidated sample, the content of the predetermined element in the local soil, and the content of the predetermined element in the cement used in the cement milk; calculating an effective cement water ratio of the unconsolidated sample using the water content ratio of the unconsolidated sample and the mass ratio; and calculating the dehydration rate of the soil cement from the calculated mass ratio, the water content ratio, the effective cement water ratio, the water content ratio of the local soil, and the water-cement ratio in the cement milk.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
