To provide a soil cement inspection method for sampling and inspecting uncured soil cement by using a sampling rod dividable into two pieces, and to provide a device for use in the method.

According to the soil cement inspection method, a half of the sampling rod is inserted into a bottom of an uncured soil cement column, and the remaining half of the sampling rod is inserted into the same along the previously inserted half of the sampling rod, and the uncured soil cement is sampled in the sampling rod, followed by pulling up the rod. Then, the rod is divided into the two pieces and the condition of the sampled uncured soil cement is observed. The sampling device is for use in the method.
