Abstract:
To provide a soil cover material for raising seedling for covering a surface of culture soil for raising seedling filled in a container, capable of suppressing occurrence of algae without damage to water holding capacity and water permeability even when a seedling raising period is long.SOLUTION: The soil cover material for raising seedling comprises a phosphate absorption coefficient of 1200 mg/100 g or greater, and an ammonia nitrogen of 113 mg/L or lower, in which a percentage content of vermiculite is preferably 50 volume% or greater and 90 volume% or lower in the whole body.SELECTED DRAWING: None
