Title:
SOIL FOR DEODORIZATION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3233001
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the defect of decomposed granite soil while keeping its features and to add prescribed deodorization characteristics to the soil by mixing an improving material composed of perlite, burnt diatomaceous earth, zeolite, bark compost, fertile soil, and poultry manure into the soil.
SOLUTION: Decomposed granite soil, weathered granite, is mixed with an improving material composed of perlite, burnt diatomaceous earth, zeolite, bark compost, fertile soil, and poultry manure. In the mixing ratio, the clay content of masa soil is made 5wt.% or less, and decomposed granite soil and the improving material are mixed to be 58vol.% of decomposed granite soil 10vol.% of perlite, 5vol.% of burnt diatomaceous earth, 5vol.% of zeolite, 12vol.% of bark compost, 5vol.% of fertile soil, and 5vol.% of poulty manure. In the soil for deodorization, air and water permeabilities are improved in comparison with decomposed granite soil, and a space for living of microorganisms, water and nutrients to be used effectively are increased. Therefore, prescribed deodorization characteristics can be demonstrated, and odorous gas can be removed as in the case of conventional black chalk earth.
