To provide a soil gas collecting method and collecting equipment which can reduce the influence of air contained in a gas collecting tube when the tube is inserted into a collecting hole to collect soil gas, thereby efficiently analyzing the soil gas.
The soil gas collecting method comprises the steps of: inserting a gas collecting tube 4 into a collecting hole 4 opened in soil and attaching a three-way switching cock 2 to the upper end portion thereof; connecting a sub-syringe 3 and a main-syringe (collector) 7, respectively, to other switching openings of this three-way switching cock 2; inhaling the air in the gas collecting tube with the sub-syringe 3 for removal; and then switching the three-way switching cock into the collector side to collect the soil gas in the main-syringe 7.
