Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soil improvement method capable of preventing a building, which is constructed on the ground, and an underground installation such as a lifeline from being damaged by liquefaction, while allowing the liquefaction to a certain degree.SOLUTION: An injection liquid, which contains fine particles or the fine particles and a silica solution as active ingredients, and a microbubble-containing liquid are injected into the ground expected to be subjected to liquefaction, and air injection is concurrently used. Thus, a fine-grained fraction or the fine-grained fraction and a silica fraction is or are increased in the ground, and a degree of saturation of the ground is reduced. The injection liquid containing bentonite, silica fumes, calcium carbonate, white carbon or a mixture of them as the fine particles is injected.
