To provide a soil improvement method capable of improving soil while suppressing the production of carbon dioxide.
The soil improvement method includes a charging step of charging the soil collected from a construction site into the soil charging part 6 of a soil improvement device 1 located at or near the construction site, a crushing step of crushing the soil charged from the charging part 6 by a crushing part 7, an improver charging step of charging an improver from an improver charging part 9 into the crushed soil, a stirring step of stirring the soil and the improver by a mixer 10, and an improved soil discharge step of discharging the soil improved by the mixer 10 to the outside of the body 5 of the soil improvement device. The soil improvement device 1 is carried into the construction site where the soil to be improved is produced so that the soil can always be improved at or near the construction site. Since the soil does not need to be transported to a distant soil improvement facility, the occurrence of carbon dioxide produced during the transportation can be suppressed, and a soil improvement in which consideration is paid to the global environment can be performed.
