To make soil clogging and bridging hardly occur in a hopper charged with raw material soil.
The raw material soil hopper 10 comprises a hopper body 16, an introduction portion 18, a pair of downward bent edge portions 20b, and a pair of upward bent edge portions 20a. The hopper body 16 includes a pair of inclined frame bodies 15 which are opened upward. The introduction portion 18, which is formed in such a shape as to be elongated downward from lower ends of the pair of inclined frame bodies 15, includes a pair of lower frame bodies 17 for guiding soil, charged into the inclined frame body 15, to a belt conveyor 11 for conveyance. The pair of downward bent edge portions 20b is formed in a boundary section between the pair of inclined frame bodies 15 and the pair of lower frame bodies 17, so as to make a shearing force act on a charged clod. The pair of upward bent edge portions 20a is provided above the downward bent edge portions 20b at an interval longer than an interval between the downward bent edge portions 20b, so as to make the shearing force act on the charged clod.
