To provide a small-sized soil improving plant and a pipe backfill method using the soil improving plant by which excavated earth can be recycled even in a narrow site near the backfill site of a gas pipe, a water pipe, etc. or in a working zone at a burying site.
The soil improving plant is provided with an earth/sand cutting-out device 3 for cutting out the thrown earth/sand by a predetermined amount, a soil improving agent adding device 5 for adding the soil improving agent to the predetermined amount of cut-out earth and sand, and a mixing, agitating and classifying device 7 for receiving, mixing, agitating and classifying the earth and sand including the added soil improving agent. These devices are connected to each other so that the earth and sand may be conveyed between the devices.
