To provide a soil sampling device which is capable of simplifying a shape of a sampler and easily sampling soil, does not fail so much, and is easy to maintain.
In the soil sampling device with a sampler 20 for sampling soil provided on a rod to be inserted underground, the sampler 20 includes a body member 21 having a cross section of a roughly square shape, and a plurality of openings 23 of the roughly square shape, for sampling soil, disposed at a prescribed interval along the longitudinal direction of the body member 21 on the side face of the body member 21, and a center line of the openings along the longitudinal direction of the body member 21 is offset from a center line along the longitudinal direction of the body member 21. A side face 22 on the front surface side of the body member 21, where the plurality of openings 23 are formed, includes a first side face part 22a and a second side face part 22b, the first side face part 22a is formed so as to become thinner than the second side face part 22b, and a flange 24 is integrally formed along the first side face part 22a.
