Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a soil-solidifying composition having exceptional soil-solidifying properties, excellent safety and biodegradability, no elution even upon contact with rain or other water, and no risk of salt damage. The present invention provides: a soil-solidifying composition containing component (A): carboxymethyl cellulose or a salt thereof, component (B): a cationic polymer, and component (C): at least one salt selected from the group consisting of sulfates, phosphates, and nitrates; and a method for solidifying soil by spraying this composition on the soil. Component (A) preferably has a DS of 0.4-1.1 and a 1% viscosity of 300-2,000 mPa⋅s; component (B) preferably has a degree of cationization of 3.8-4.2 meq/g and a molecular weight of 3,000,000-7,500,000, and preferably is a polyacrylic acid ester compound or polymethacrylic acid ester compound; and component (C) preferably includes an ammonium salt such as ammonium sulfate, ammonium nitrate, or ammonium phosphate.
