Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly solidify soil such as discharged at a construction work site or the like.
SOLUTION: Soil is rapidly solidified by adding thereto and mixing therewith a soil-solidifying agent comprising magnesium oxide and one or more solidifying agents selected from the group consisting of aluminum sulfate, ferrous sulfate, polyaluminum chloride, acid sodium sulfate, sulfamic acid, polyacrylic acid, ammonium sulfate, alum, calcined alunite and zinc sulfate. To the soil solidifying agent can be added an acid agent to lower the pH of the treated soil, an organic polymer flocculant and/or a water-absorbing agent in case a large amount of water is contained in soil, and furthermore a solidifying accelerator.
