Title:
SOIL-STABILIZED SOIL AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3926273
Kind Code:
B
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide soil-stabilized soil for which formulation design can be made by prior calculation, preventing consumption of gypsum from increasing even in case of using gypsum as a solidifying material, preventing costs of the soil-stabilized soil and its application from increasing, and capable of obtaining required strength even if water content of earth and sand varies, and to provide a method for producing the soil-stabilized soil.
SOLUTION: The method for producing the soil-stabilized soil comprises adding an aqueous solution of solidification retardant to the earth and sand uniformly, and then uniformly mixing a solidifying material mainly comprising gypsum. Thereby it becomes possible to prevent a part of the gypsum from binding to surface water of soil particles within a very short time after mixing the solidifying material with the earth and sand. Thus it is not necessary to supply additional amount of gypsum anticipating loss in weight in advance. Accordingly, cost increase of the soil-stabilized soil and its application is prevented because consumption of gypsum is prevented from increasing even in the case of using gypsum as the solidifying material.
