PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar battery module and a method of installing the same module that can improve the installation flexibility and also reduce the installation cost thereof, while preventing adhesion and stay of rain drops and dust on the module surface and also preventing generation of thermal stresses due to the change in ambient temperature and expansion of recessed area of the module.
SOLUTION: After a solar battery module 100 is installed to the mounting surface 113 of a mounting rail 110 in a crosssectional of I-shape, including the upper end in a Y-shape, the flat-type solar battery module is curved like a bow for installation to provide the projected light-receiving surface of the solar battery module 100 when integrally installing the solar battery module and rail with the rail and fixing hole with a clamping tool 120 and a lock pin 130 for pressing and fixing the solar battery module to the rail from the upper side. Moreover, it is also possible that the solar battery module is curved beforehand like a bow.
