A solar battery module 1 has a solar battery panel 1A with the edge sealed all around using an edge sealing member 2 made of a high molecular compound having elasticity such as resin. In this case, a plurality of mounting and fixing parts 4 and 4 with mounting holes 3 for passing a fastener such as a screw are formed on the periphery (four corners and center of each side of the edge sealing member 2 as integral part thereof at a resin molding process. Also, each mounting hole 3 is preliminarily made smaller than the shank diameter of the fastener such as a screw, and as a result, the screw and the mounting hole 3 are threadedly engaged with or fitted to each other due to the elasticity of a raw material. The ingress of rainwater into an attic through the mounting hole 3 is thereby prevented properly. Also, a terminal box having a bottom approximately flush with the bottoms of the mounting parts 4 and 4 is arranged approximately at the center of the the solar battery panel 1A.
