A plurality of photoelectric conversion elements 20 separated by a connection line region 16 and separation line region 18 are arranged on a glass substrate 2 which is right triangle in the profile. The connection line region 16 connects the photoelectric conversion elements 20 in series, and the separation line region 18 electrically separates the adjoining photoelectric conversion elements 20 while separating (dividing) the photoelectric conversion element 20 in a specified area. The connection line region 16 is orthogonal to the separation line region 18, and the profile of the photoelectric conversion element 20 is square. An external wiring for electrically connecting the photoelectric conversion elements 20 is formed in the region at the outer periphery of the glass substrate 2 outside the region where the photoelectric conversion elements are formed.
