Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a highly reliable solar cell power supply in which failure due to moisture is drastically suppressed.
CONSTITUTION: The solar cell power supply comprises a solar cell module 11 generating electromotive force optically, a humidity detecting means 12 producing a signal when a predetermined humidity is reached, a light quantity detecting means 13 producing a signal when the quantity of incident light to the solar cell module 11 drops below a predetermined level, and means 14 for short-circuiting the output terminals of the solar cell module when both the humidity detecting means 12 and the light quantity detecting means 13 are producing outputs.
